On April 21, 2021, I had the opportunity to present during the 2021 National Alliance of State Animal and Agricultural Emergency Programs Summit. The 3-day summit included a fascinating presentation by Dr. Casey Behravesh on CDC’s One Health Response to COVID, a discussion of AVMA’s veterinary disaster responder certification program by Dr. Warren Hess, my presentation on animal mortality management during a disease outbreak or natural disaster, and many other interesting topics. I am already looking forward to the 2022 NASAAEP Summit!
